That Time The Mikaelson's Fought.

"Brother, you must be a fool to believe that she will ever fall in love with you," says Elijah to his brother, Klaus.

Klaus' nostrils flare up as he shot his brother with dagger-like glares, "Much humor that those words are coming from you, Elijah. Remember how it was when you first fell for a chambermaid?"

Filled with rage, Elijah takes a shot at Klaus and pushes him with vampire strength. Klaus isn't one to hold back; with his hybrid speed, he swishes behind Elijah, where he wouldn't see, and was in the verge of puncturing him when Rebekah shouts, "Enough! Both of you! Do you realize that you are fighting because of a bloody human! Always and Forever! We're not supposed to be fighting like this."

The younger brother lets go while the older one fixes his suit. Klaus replies to Rebekah, "It's not like none of us have ever hoped for the attention of a mortal. We've all made that mistake. Some more than once. I've been at this for centuries. You should be used to it."

"Problem is, it's different this time around, Niklaus. Mother's back," Finn says.

Rebekah continues Finn's remark, "And her friend is a witch."

Then, Elijah finishes it, "Not to mention, she's the stubborn, curious type. You can't do to her what you've done to the women you've had in the past."

Kol barges in the house at the perfect time and joins the conversation, "And she my mate." All the original siblings look at Kol. He clears it up, "She's Bonnie's best mate. And she fancies me. Or at least, she learning to. She can't be another of one in the list, Nik. She's different."

"And you don't think I see that? I tried my best to keep away, but she keeps drawing me back. All of you can see that she is not the typical lass I woe. I'm just trying to protect this one."

Rebekah retorts, "But what's the point? She's not going to die in New Orleans. We control all the vampires. She doesn't need personal protection, Nik. Stop treating like her like your girl friend! She's never going to choose you."

"I'd rather choose to protect her than to be with a family that doesn't believe in me."
