Hello, mates! Just dropping by and wishing you all to have a howdy awesome new year! I know new year's are kind of an excuse to change something about yourself, but come on! We all know that that'll only last for the first few days.
I just want to tell all of you that a new year doesn't require you to change something about yourself. Same thing the other way around! You don't need a new year to change something about yourself. Do you even know why new year's resolution barely stick?
It's because you instantaneously jump into this big change that you haven't adjusted to. And that's the psychology of it. Resolutions like that will barely stick because you are sure to have a draw back. So, I suggest that you go with gradual change instead!
Does any of you know the quote, "Change happens gradually." ? Well, that quote is accurate alright! I'm not saying that it's impossible for change to occur in an instant. I'm saying that if the instant change doesn't work well for you, it only means that a more step by step kind of change is required. And that's never a bad thing.
The important things about change is the journey and the result of it. It's not important how long it took for you to finally reach your goal. The important thing is that you reach your goal. Most people don't try this long enough to see themselves succeed. You'd be surprised how many people fail from succeeding with the simplest of resolutions (e.i., being organized). So, it must definitely boost your ego once you do succeed.
